Munchausen syndrome by proxy (MSBP) is a very special pathology where an adult produces symptoms
of illness in baby or child/adolescents under his care. Il is a factitious disorder generally produced by
the mother. Mother’s intention is to obtain medical treatment and to give part of these treatments. We
present a single case of a baby who has been hospitalized four times.
