Archives of Aquaculture and Fisheries

Publication Charges

As an open access journal, Archives of Aquaculture and Fisheries ensures that all published articles are freely and permanently available online immediately after publication. To support this model and cover the costs associated with editorial processing, peer review, production, hosting, and long-term archiving, the journal charges a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of the manuscript.

Article Processing Charges (APC):

  • Original Research / Review / Case Report / Mini-Review: USD 1250

  • Short Communication / Commentary / Letter to the Editor: USD 550

There are no submission charges. Authors are only required to pay the APC after the manuscript has been peer-reviewed and accepted for publication.

Waivers and Discounts:
We are committed to supporting researchers from low- and middle-income countries. Waivers or discounts may be granted on a case-by-case basis upon request. Authors facing financial difficulties are encouraged to contact the editorial office during or after submission.

Payment Process:
Payment instructions will be sent to the corresponding author along with the acceptance letter. Articles will be processed for publication only after payment is confirmed.
