Updates in Dermatological Research (ISSN 2992-9776) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes articles related to clinical and experimental dermatology. The journal covers all the topics related to melanoma biology and cutaneous oncology, epigenetics and skin disease, the biology of ageing, skin pathology, skin health and cosmetics, wound healing, clinical and translational research with emphasis on clinical trials, procedural dermatology, patient-centred care, inflammatory disorders, and immunodermatology.

The journal accepts all types of articles such as research, reviews, mini-reviews, case reports, letters to the editor, and commentaries, reports, etc. providing a single forum for discussion. The journal follows a strict double-blind peer review process to provide unbiased recognition of the work. All the articles will be freely available online immediately after acceptance.
