Case report And Literature Review of Craniotomy For Frontal Sinus And Ethmoid Bone Fractures With Persistent Cerebrospinal Fluid Fistula Complicated by COVID-19 Infection
Frontal sinus fractures are a significant cause of morbidity following head injuries. This article presents
a case report of a male patient who suffered polytrauma due to a car accident. The patient sustained a
comminute frontal bone fracture and anterior skull base fractures, complicated by delayed cerebrospinal
fluid (CSF) rhinorrhea. We detail the surgical techniques applied for frontal sinus obliteration and skull
base reconstruction and provide a comprehensive review of the literature.
