The journal scope includes the knowledge in medical research of the gastroenterology, hepatology, molecular biology, hepatobiliary surgery, gastrointestinal malignancies (i.e., esophageal, gastric, colorectal, anal, hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancers), gastroenterological and hepatobiliary diseases including preneoplastic and malignant conditions, pancreatology, gastrointestinal laboratory medicine, digestive system disorders such as colon and small bowel, inflammatory bowel disease, functional GI disorders, endoscopy esophagus, liver, pancreas and biliary tract, stomach, coeliac disease, constipation, cirrhosis, digestive bleeding, gerd (gastroesophageal reflux disorder), Barrett's oesophagus, peptic ulcers, Crohn's disease, diverticulitis, hernia, dumping syndrome, gall stones, hemorrhoids, diarrhoea, pancreatitis, bloating and wind, coeliac disease, constipation, faecal incontinence, heartburn, helicobacter pylori, indigestion, perianal diseases, polyps in the bowel, stomach cancer, bowel cancer, ulcerative colitis, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) etc. but not limited to mentioned topics.
The journal accepts all types of articles such as research, reviews, mini-reviews, case reports, letters to the editor, and commentaries, reports, etc. providing a single forum for discussion. The journal follows a strict double-blind peer-review process to provide unbiased recognition of the work. All the articles will be freely available online immediately after acceptance.
